ACM Founder and Director_- Laronda Alexander RN

Laronda presents a captivating and passionate message of healing through God’s love.  Her compassionate heart brings safety and security to women as they deal with painful memories and trauma from their past.  She is spiritually perceptive and gifted to help women respond to God’s love.  Her ability to connect with the audience and share humorous as well as painful life experiences will leave you encouraged and inspired.

Laronda has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and understands firsthand the joys and stresses of care giving. She has worked in Cardiac Care, Critical Care, Home Health, and Children’s and Adult Mental Health, including Juvenile Sexual Offender and Chemical Detoxification Programs.

A little over ten years ago, Laronda was diagnosed with severe heart disease. She had to take drastic measures to change her life. She was forced to take care of herself. She not only embarked on a healing journey of her physical heart but also allowed God to complete the healing of wounds that had kept her in bondage to low self esteem, self hatred, and depression.  She began ACM Ministries to help other women find hope and healing for their wounded hearts.

In Jan. 2010, Laronda and coauthor Lisa Raley, published Love’s Response, Reconnecting to God Through Healing of Emotional Wounds for individual or group use.  It originated from the curriculum Laronda had developed and taught in inner healing classes and seminars for women over the last several years.  The message of Love’s Response is the power of God’s agape love can transform women’s hearts and lives and bring healing to their pasts, strength for each day, and incredible hope for the future.

Laronda is a Certified Biblical Counselor and Ordained Minister and has served on staff at First Stone Ministries and Victory Church in OKC.  She also directed “Daughters of Grace” a ministry for women coming out of the sex industry.

Currently, Laronda works as RN in a hospital mental health unit, is Executive Director of ACM, and serves at Discover Church leading a women’s group called Discover Women’s Connection.  She is a member of National Association of Mental Illness, American Association of Christian Counselors, and the American Christian Writers Association.

Laronda lives in the country in Noble, OK and is married to Scott, an engineer. She has one son Caleb 16, daughter Stephanie, son-in-law Brandon, and granddaughter Emma 5.  Both children volunteer in music and Youth Ministry.  Laronda thanks God for the blessing of her amazing, loving family.
